Not reflecting the changes - header footerHi All,
I have found that exo-ecm application is using '<EXO-HOME>\webapps\resources\community\web-content\banner.html' as header, '<EXO-HOME>\webapps\resources\community\web-content\footer.html' as footer. ISSUE: The changes done to these pages are not reflecting to the page until clean the DB and re-create it. If any one knows how to resolve this, please let me know the solution Thanks in advance... |

Re: Not reflecting the changes - header footerHi,
How are you performing the changes ? Are you using the Display Static Content portlet edit mode or are you using another mean ? -- Patrice dvenkateswara a écrit : > Hi All, > > I have found that exo-ecm application is using > '<EXO-HOME>\webapps\resources\community\web-content\banner.html' as header, > '<EXO-HOME>\webapps\resources\community\web-content\footer.html' as footer. > > ISSUE: The changes done to these pages are not reflecting to the page until > clean the DB and re-create it. Re: Not reflecting the changes - header footerThanks for quick response,
Here is what I did.. We were able to modify the page header and footer in static page ‘banner, html’ and footer.html’ but to reflect these changes we have two ways 1) Modify the banner.html and footer.html and clean the DB and restart the exo-tomcat server 2) Directly update the DB in the table named ‘document_content’ and column ‘content’ I would like to know if there is any other way to do this without touching the DB manually.

Re: Not reflecting the changes - header footerYes, use the portlet edit mode. It will show you a form containing the
content. You can update the html content and click save. There is no need to restart, the content is instantly updated. -- Patrice dvenkateswara a écrit : > Thanks for quick response, > Here is what I did.. > > We were able to modify the page header and footer in static page > ‘banner, html’ and footer.html’ but to reflect these changes we have two ways > > 1) Modify the banner.html and footer.html and clean the DB and restart > the exo-tomcat server > > 2) Directly update the DB in the table named ‘document_content’ and > column ‘content’ > > I would like to know if there is any other way to do this without touching > the DB manually. > > > > LAMARQUE Patrice GC EUR wrote: > >> Hi, >> >> How are you performing the changes ? >> Are you using the Display Static Content portlet edit mode or are you >> using another mean ? >> >> -- >> Patrice >> >> >> dvenkateswara a écrit : >> >>> Hi All, >>> >>> I have found that exo-ecm application is using >>> '<EXO-HOME>\webapps\resources\community\web-content\banner.html' as >>> header, >>> '<EXO-HOME>\webapps\resources\community\web-content\footer.html' as >>> footer. >>> >>> ISSUE: The changes done to these pages are not reflecting to the page >>> until >>> clean the DB and re-create it.
