help needed there:
ubuntu-server 8.10, updated to today
I was installing ebox and this error message comes out:
Failed to contact configuration server; some possible causes are that
you need to enable TCP/IP networking for ORBit, or you have stale NFS
locks due to a system crash. See
http://www.gnome.org/projects/gconf/
for information. (Details - 1: Not running within active session) at
/usr/share/perl5/EBox/GConfModule.pm line 50.
Trying to spawn the server:

Version of gconftool: 2.24.0
No messages in logs (empty files). Only root has the .gconf directory.
Normal users do not have this directory (no gconf calls from users,
that's ok, just fyi).
Last but not least: error message comes out beeing connected both
directly or via ssh and it is a virtual mac
Please let me know what do you need more in order to help me.
