Everyone!

Available immediately, we're happy to release the second BUGS 2 beta,
codenamed "Blue topaz". In this beta we focused on getting the "News and
Articles" module ready, as well as make some rather big under-the-hood
improvements in the "Report issue"-wizard. We also closed 24 bugs since
the release of BUGS 2 beta 1.

These are the highlights from the changes available since beta 1:
* Added: publish module, which adds several features
* Added: News items
* Added: Articles
* Added: Billboards
* Changed: "Report issue" wizard is now using AJAX instead of 10 page
refreshes to report a bug. This should make the process a lot less
cumbersome, an quicker
* Added: "Report issue" - option to "submit issue, and continue
reporting a similar issue"
* Fixed: issues with installation and directory permissions

Please help us test this release by following the download instructions
posted at http://www.thebuggenie.com

*Please note*
There *are* and *will be* several issues with this release, therefore
the "beta" status. We do not recommend this release for production use.
The "SVN Integration" and "Calendar" modules are not finished yet, but
will be available in beta 3. Beta 3 will also have translation
capabilities, so you can start translation BUGS 2 into your own
language. After Beta 3 we will enter "feature freeze", which means we
will not add more features to BUGS 2.0 (any features accepted after the
release of beta 3 will be slated for the 2.1 release), only fix issues,
add polish and complete the translation.

*How to install this release*
Download and extract the beta2 archive to a chosen directory under your
web-server, then access this directory through your web-browser.
