Numeric Comparison error in VMethods.pm

Hello,

We are getting a bunch of these errors on our server after upgrading
from 3.2 to 3.4.1:

[Fri Sep 18 08:33:55 2009] [error] [client 172.30.161.18] [Fri Sep 18
08:33:55 2009] buglist.cgi: Argument "2009-07-02 08:33:53" isn't
numeric in numeric comparison (<=>) at lib/x86_64-linux-thread-multi/
Template/VMethods.pm line 493, <DATA> line 225.

Any suggestions on how to fix?
