NutOs running on cortex-m3

Hi all,

Yesterday I got NutOs 4.5.1 running into cortex-m3 LM3S6965 from luminary.
Now I have thread Idle, main and a third one running.
I should do a change in NutThreadSwitch, that I did not like it, but my knowlegde about cortex has forced me to do that, so if anyone are interested in this port, let me know, and who knows if we together can cut out my ugly workaround.
If NutOs team are interested, this port can goes to ethernut svc chain.

Regards

Paulo

Hi Paulo,

This is good news. I have a LM3S8962 Kit here for some time but never
got enough time to try Nut/OS. Please send you changes to harald at
egnite dot de.

Thanks,

Harald

Hi,

I solved the problem with NutThreadSwitch, and now NutOs are running without the ugly workaround I did.
Now I will work on code to work with its peripherals.

Regards

Paulo

Hi
Is it possible to add this port (LM3S) to distribution?
I'm waiting and waiting...  month... year....  ;-)

Best Regards
Pawel

Hi Pawel, sorry for a late response.

As I sad in anothers post here, I am using only makefiles to compile
Nut/Os for cortex M3,this means, nutconfigurator and nutsetup does not
deal with cortex M3 yet,  and until this moment I have only 2 drivers
that I use, ethernet and uart, for a while they will be the only drivers
for cortex M3.

If you want to do that feel free to do, and let me know if you want the
source code.

Best regards

Paulo
