Nuxeo posibilities

Hello,

I am totally new to Nuxeo, and I have the following questions for anyone with experience using it:

- Is it possible to know if a user has read a document? (not edit nor delete, which I assume it is:-D)
- Is there any way to show the "lastest N documents" created/modified?
- Can Word, Excel and PDF files be indexed so that they can be searched afterwards?

not out of the box be it is easy to implement

- Is there any way to show the "lastest N documents" created/modified?
yes, you just need to create a query (have a look in the dashboard, you have similar thing)

- Can Word, Excel and PDF files be indexed so that they can be searched afterwards?
it is done by default
