Octave 3.2.2 on Windows Vista

Hello all,

After I installed the bin package for Windows I kept getting error messages when trying different commands that different .dll files were missing. I did find them in a older Octave install but not in the new install tree. I did copy them over to see if octave would I could execute imread but Octave immediately seg faults and does a core dump.

Any ideas?

Thank you,

Wayne Hilliard

Hello

I'm not a vista user so that I cannot reproduce what you have met.

In principle dll files in old version cannot be used in newer version.
The phenomena is very anomaly.

Did you try uninstall octave 3.2.2 and reinstall it?

Even if you have reinstalled  and met the same error, please give the information what dlls missing.

Regards

Tatsuro

Hmm, sounds strange. I don't have Vista, so I cannot reproduce your errors.
Where did you install Octve to?
Which commands did you try out and which dlls were reported missing?
