Octave as untrusted code embedded interpreter upon object database.

Dear Octave folks,

I'm sniffing for a embeddable interpreter. We have several
requirements, but I have no enough expertize to asset if
Octave matches them, so asking for your help.

1. Is it possible to isolate code written in Octave from
OS kernel and raw memory? User providing code (script
developer) must not be able to access files, network,
embedding process memory, etc.

2. Script developer must be able to mark some objects to
be stored in our object database using standard syntax
(like "global" variables in Python, for instance).

3. There must be a constant string type representing a
string in raw memory buffer without redundant copying.

4. The interpreter must have ability to be interrupted
after timeout expiration (using, possibly, a debugger or
so) and correctly resumed then.

Thanks in advance.
