        About the organization:

MicroCred is an investment company in microfinance, created in July 2005 by
Planet Finance, established in Paris. MicroCred’s mission is to provide
financial services and savings products to entrepreneurs unserved or
underserved by the traditional financial sector by building a group of leading
microfinance banks and finance companies in at least 15 countries by 2015.

        Tasks/objectives:

Objectives
• Institutionalization of training function: develop a training unit in MC
Nanchong; develop a training curriculum for credit and non credit staff and
train training manager.

Activities
• Institutionalization of training function,
• Review and evaluate current training programs for credit and non credit staff,
• Collect training needs from both credit and non-credit staff,
• Design training models or training manuals for identified training needs,
• Develop a training schedule for HQ and branch/outlet training sessions,
• Provide training to training manager and senior managers who may be involved
in delivery of future trainings,
• Assess the extent to which internal capacity is sufficient to deliver
identified training sessions or if external service providers are needed for
the training,
• Conduct a preliminary assessment of local training providers and short list
the ones that are most appropriate for future training sessions,
• Co-lead initial training sessions together with training manager.

Skills
• At least 3 years experience in microfinance training, preferably in China,
• Analytical skills,
• Autonomy and initiative,
• Ability to develop innovative solutions,
• Demonstrated high professional and ethical standards,
• Fluent in English is required ; fluent in Chinese would be a strong asset.

Education
• University degree in management/finance/development/pedagogy or related
subjects,
• Ideally experience in the same position abroad.
