Old iMac and network cardHi,
I was trying to setup OpenBSD on an old iMac and not everything went OK. For example, the bm networkd adapter is not working properly: everything seems to be fine but shortly after the interface is running, it just hangs (timeout warnings start to be sent to the console). I've read the FAQ (http://www.openbsd.org/faq/faq12.html#macppc) and it simply says I should use an USB NIC. Is there some progress on the bm driver or is it just something to be dropped in the near future? Is there any clear understanding of the problem or the driver is just broken and no one is currently working on it? Regards, -- Miguel |

Unfortunately, i can not do it now as I am not near the computer. I'll do that later. Anyway, from the FAQ text, I understand this is a general problem with the device driver, right? >> OK.
