I found some stuff I'd downloaded from there, but half of it has corrupted archive files and I can't unpack it. 8-( Bill -- Bill Bradford Houston, Texas _______________________________________________ rescue list - http://www.sunhelp.org/mailman/listinfo/rescue |

(not the "regular" 6386, because it uses a nonstandard keyboard / plug) Why? Because the tower version of the 6386 was one of the first "real UNIX" systems I ever saw in person, when I toured the local electric co-op in grade school (they had that doing weather maps and such; their VAX ran all the important things). I'm also looking for OpenStep 4.2 install media images for x86. I've got NeXTstep 3.3 (everything), but would like to find OS4.2 again. (I know, emulating NeXTStep on a system that basically *is* the modern NeXTstep...) There is a CD image and the original install images floating around on bittorrent. Here you can find a driver floppy patched for EIDE drives: http://www.moldus.org/~laurent/GNUstep/OS42_Install.html I have read that the same image works for SPARC (sun4m?) too, but don't have one to test it out.
