One time string section: new group or separate ARs?Hi,
Have a look at the booklet page 7 at: http://www.cover-paradies.to/?Module=ViewEntry&ID=408676 There's a series of credits applying to two tracks on the Hard Candy release [1] by Counting Crows. In the booklet it is credited as 'Jerry Hey String Section', listing all artist performing in the string section. This was, however, just a one time string section for just the two tacks. I'm personally tempted to create a new group named 'Jerry Hey String Section' including all the artist credited in the booklet. I could also add the complete list of credits to both tracks separately. The disadvantage of the first option would be that the specific instrument credits will get lost (but can be stored in an annotation), the disadvantage of the second option is that the list of tracks ARs will get quite extensive. What is your opinion? Which option has you preference? You can add each relationship just once if you use the option of relating to tracks on a release (via Relate To... release) to create two relationships simultaneously rather than relating to each track itself separately. -- Andrew :-) Free Java Software Engineer Red Hat, Inc.
