Ongoing Kaffeine dev for KDE4

I wanted to start contributing for the KDE4 version of Kaffeine
(improving the ATSC support, such as the program guide info etc).

Is this the appropriate branch where work is ongoing:

http://websvn.kde.org/branches/work/kaffeine4/kaffeine/

Also, it looks like this repository is being updated in bulk.  Is
there some other repository changes are being pushed from?  Or is this
just the style of development for those involved?

all this is still experimental.

Nope, it isn't copied from a different repo. The problem is that the kde4 code
is still at an early stage, so when I'm working on something I have to touch
different areas and I commit the changes once those areas are in good shape
again.

Hmm, next week my holidays will begin - I should be able to do some coding so
that the version is more usable and contributions are made easier. There's no
program guide implemented yet, so this has to wait and with regards to
scanning I could just copy and modify your ATSC scan patch a bit ...

At the moment it would be nice if you could test the atsc basic parts once
I've put them into the kde4 version; the program guide feature has to wait a
bit longer but I'll see what I can do :)

If the KDE4 program guide isn't ready yet for DVB, I"ll hold off until
it is in working order before I try to extend it for ATSC support.  I
might try to take a crack at getting it to work under the KDE3 version
of Kaffeine, which will let me write all the ATSC parsing code.

I would be happy to test/debug the KDE4 version of the ATSC scanning
support, but I will need to get a box setup with KDE4 (perhaps
Kubuntu).  Do you have any recommendations regarding Linux
distributions with good KDE4 support? (since I don't want to build
KDE4 from source if I can avoid it).
