While I may know most of you via the regular list(s) for VM please continue
reading anyway as that is a general purpose message:
For those of you who are new to the interesting world of VM via Hercules, I
bid you all welcome.
You will find us to be a receptive community.
I do have one request however, before posting absolutely anything please
consider its importance. Is it something that we would consider to be off
topic? Is it relevant? More importantly, will be added to the some total of
our knowledge of how VM (VM/370rel6, VM/ESA, even VM/SP and Z/VM) works via
Hercules? That is the question you will need to ponder before posting.
If you simply need to introduce yourself and explain who you are and why you
are interested in our group, then please do so. Please do not post any blog
references unless they are absolutely relevant to Hercules and the related
operating systems.
Please feel free to reset your settings for your users ID on the group pages
accordingly after you've received this greeting.
And for the lucky individual who has gotten the originally evaluation copy
to run via Hercules I bid you an especially good greeting. Please be careful
there are people here from IBM Legal who may not like this very much. I know
that a certain entity still doesn't like us.
