We invite your members to Open Source Software Challenge 2009.
The Ministry of Knowledge Economy (MKE) hosts “Open Source Software Challenge 2009” with a total award value of 26 million Korean Won; Eight million Korean Won in total will be awarded to winners in international division.
International participants are exclusively allowed to submit any Open Source Software developed within one year, even though they got a prize from another competition with the software.
The application deadline is coming soon: Oct. 15th, 2009. You can apply at http://ossproject.or.kr/international or send us completed application forms to hannah.k0123@.... There is no application fee.
The final project should be submitted by Oct. 23rd online. The direction for the submission will be announced shortly.

“Open Source Software Challenge 2009” to be held in Korea.
Open Source Software Challenge 2009 has adopted a new category for international competitors with a view to furthering diverse and borderless exchanges of information among software developers, to contributing to better development technologies by keeping current with trends, to building a worldwide human network of OSS developers and to laying the ground for international project development.
We hope SW developers around the globe will show much interest in and join the challenge as future leaders in world SW industry. |

Note: International participants are allowed to submit recently developed
Open Source Software (within one year) regardless of the other
awards received.

- Free subjects
Completed developments submitted should be based on OSS platforms, opened complying with OSS License Policies (e.g. GPL and LGPL) and subjected to consultation with the host organization on distribution.
