Open Positions

The School of Informatics and Computing at Indiana University,
Bloomington,
invites applications for faculty positions. We are particularly
interested
in tenure-track candidates in the areas of:

  - Health Informatics
  - Cyber-infrastructure
  - Software and Systems
  - Data Mining, Machine Learning and Search
  - Artificial Intelligence
  - Human-Computer Interaction
  - Graphics and Visualization; and
  - Algorithms

Most positions are expected to be filled at the junior level but
outstanding
senior candidates will be considered, particularly in the broad area of
cyber-infrastructure, software and systems.

All candidates should have a Ph.D. in computer science or any relevant
field. Successful applicants are expected to conduct an independent
research
program, establish research collaborations with colleagues in the school
and
beyond, participate successfully in scholarly publication and obtaining
research funding, teach relevant undergraduate and graduate courses, and
mentor graduate students. They should be committed to helping with the
ongoing development of a cutting-edge, interdisciplinary School.
