Who Knows who is using it?

Thanks for any info

We looked at using this core a few years ago and contacted one of the
authors about it. He informed us that there were bugs in the code that is
on opencores and that for $10K he'd send us the working code. Smelled like
classic bait and switch. We went with a different vendor.

Hi,
we are also looking into using this core in a project. We have spoken
with ORSOC and they say that they have customers using the core in a
production environment. That said if one look at the CAN core website
there are bug fixes that are not added to the SVN repository.

We are planing a to make a addon card to a Xilinx evo board, to be able
and evaluate the CAN core. But for now the project have stalled a bit,
waiting for a DDR2 core to be finished, we are reckoning that we going
to need that speed in our project.
