thanks for the link. but it looks like a high level description document,
not a developers manual. at least I saw no detailed APDU commands with
all parameters and the security model etc. documented in there.
even if that is available, it needs a volunteer with time on hands to
develop and write a driver. so far no one has volunteered to do that.
and since other nice cards are available with full documentation available,
I wonder why someone would invest his time into gemsafe cards - unless of
course you are somehow stuck with those cards and want to get them to
work, so you don't have to rely on their software once it works.
hmm. if the gemalto software creates pkcs#15, you could of course try
to create debug log files for all normal actions. maybe what they do
is so similar to normal opensc operations, so that we "only" need to
copy a few parameters from such log files. (reverse engineering for
compatibility is perfectly fine in europe and many other places...)
