Opie CafePress, donationsHi all,
Firstly, I rediscovered that the Opie CafePress "store" is still open: http://www.cafepress.com/Opie Does anyone know who has the admin details for this? Secondly, an Opie user recently asked on IRC if we had any way of accepting donations. Do we want to get into this? I can't think of anything that we could really use the money for right now, but the user in question was quite keen to donate. Paypal would be one option here. Paypal would be one option here. handhelds.org is set up as a non-profit and could take donations. I don't know the specifics. Paypal is fine with me. Amarok seems to get by pretty well with paypal. They can also donate hardware to allow better testing and release management, because it's indeed hard to do that with only 1 device on hands ;-). > Cheers, > Paul -- Best regards, Paul mailto:pmiscml@... _______________________________________________ http://opie.handhelds.org/cgi-bin/moin.cgi/DeveloperWikiIndex Opie-devel mailing list Opie-devel@... https://handhelds.org/mailman/listinfo/opie-devel |

I started that years ago. Prices are set at cost, so no profits are being generated. -- Lorn 'ljp' Potter Software Engineer, Systems Group, MES, Trolltech _______________________________________________ http://opie.handhelds.org/cgi-bin/moin.cgi/DeveloperWikiIndex Opie-devel mailing list Opie-devel@... https://handhelds.org/mailman/listinfo/opie-devel |
