hello,

Is there a Mips based version of the Opie environment available for PDA's. i wish to convert my CE based PDA to linux and looking at the minimum specs it is possible, but the architecture is not in the list.
please let me know if it is possible, the only other version i have seen is the VR linux and i have not seen screenshots of this distro.

regards

If Linux is running on the device and you can cross-compile Opie for MIPS
(perhaps with OpenEmbedded?) then you should be able to run it on MIPS. No
idea if this has been tested before though - most of the devices I have used
have been ARM-based.

Cheers,
Paul
