Origin of outdated contrib/RPM ?

Hi,

I've found there is squirrelmail.spec and config.php.redhat in contrib/RPM.
What is the origin of these files? At least squirrelmail.spec seems little
outdated - definitions for red hat linux 7 (before RHEL and Fedora split) and
version 1.4.3

Is config.php.redhat somehow related to Red Hat or it's just default config file
used for redhat-like systems? In cvs it seems 3 years old...

Any information is welcomed.

Thanks,
Michal Hlavinka
