Oscar upgradesIs there a documented procedure for upgrading an installation from an
older version of Oscar to a newer version? eg. update the war, simple enough either use a precompiled version (from the website) or build from CVS with the appropriate tag you will need the CVS and look in the database updates folder to get the database update scripts as OSCAR changes database structure almost weekly Finally if you want the latest version of encounter and you are not currently you will need to run the java applet in the updates folder to transform the database I have done it myself several times in the past, and will probably continue to do it when its a small incremental job but frankly for production purposes if you are looking at dozens of update scripts and having to have it up and running at 8AM I have paid a service company to do it for me ================ Peter Hutten-Czapski Haileybury Ontario "The attitude that ‘if rural people want these services they’ll have to come to the city to get them’ is simply not acceptable…” (Newbery, 1999) Before printing, think about the environment.
