Overo Air WiFi Module not working with provided Gumstix imagesI have set up the Overo Air computer-on-module with the summit board and have been able to boot with the images supplied on your support webpage. Nevertheless, I am also trying to set up the WiFi module that the overo air board comes with, but so far the images I have downloaded and tested from Gumstix.net haven’t let me initialize the WiFi correctly.
I have already tried beta-2.img.bz2, v0.90.img.bz2, and v0.91.img.bz2 images. Beta2 will not load the Libertas driver and will not identify the WiFi module, v0.90 seems to be installing the Libertas driver but my mouse and keyboard are not functional. Finally, v0.91 loads the Liberta firmware half the time (have tried several boots) but when it does load I haven’t been able to set up to connect to our WAP network. Can you please point me to the image that supports the WiFi module correctly? I have read several instructions on how to set it up, but so far nothing I have tried on the images supplied by Gumstix seem to give me a stable WiFi module. - Martha |

Re: Overo Air WiFi Module not working with provided Gumstix imagesHi,
Try images from http://www.sakoman.com/feeds/omap3/blibc/images/overo. I used 200906230722 and got wifi working relatively quick. Stuart
