Overo omap3 u-boot & eject build failuresHi,
I'm encountering the same problem as others whereby u-boot and eject won't build. I know that this is because the sources were hosted on the now-defunct GeoCities. Unfortunately, because of these, I cannot complete an omap3-console-image build, even though I use the -k option with BitBake. My question: I don't care about either of the above, can I tell BitBake to build without those items? If so, how? I've tried moving the recipes out of the build tree, and also bluez (don't need that either), but now my system is stuck trying to get through rejecting pulseaudio (dependencies). It's been like that for 3 hours now, and it's a fast machine. Is there *some* documentation I should be looking at to explain how to add or remove items from the build? If there is, I'm sorry, but this is all new to me (although I'm very familiar at building Linux systems)..... Thanks in advance. You can do a git pull to pick up the changes. Warning -- take note of my other email that describes a disruptive change you will pick up when you do the git pull. The net result is that you will need to do a clean build after the pull (i.e. delete the OE tmp dir and restart your build) If you don't want to do the clean build you can just update the recipes by hand with the changes required: http://www.sakoman.net/cgi-bin/gitweb.cgi?p=openembedded.git;a=commitdiff;h=33fb2b20f027bce147a8c50fb1d01c35e6ce5a04 http://www.sakoman.net/cgi-bin/gitweb.cgi?p=openembedded.git;a=commitdiff;h=57c0367d9b42558d45ed16dd5dc7b322991e8847 Steve > My question: I don't care about either of the above, can I tell BitBake to > build without those items?
