The PhotoForum members' gallery/exhibit space was updated May 19, 2012. Authors with work now on display at: http://people.rit.edu/andpph/gallery.html include:

                Bob McCulloch - 43rd Street
                John Palcewski - Bird
                Jim Snarski - Ruffled
                Christopher Strevens - The Road

SPECIAL NOTE: Allan Rosen-Ducat has a series exhibition of his Ridge Line Project photographs installed in Gallery-10.

Note there are no photographs in-waiting. Participation encouraged!

To participate find instructions at: http://people.rit.edu/andpph/gallery-sub.html

Send your contributions early and anything you can do to prepare the photographs so they do not require additional adjustment would be much appreciated. Especially keeping them near 100Kb in maximum size. Please take an extra minute to abide by this request but if you have doubts about how to prepare images just send them anyway and the capable gallery staff will adjust them for exhibition.

Bob McCulloch - 43rd Street  The City is rich and fertile ground for photographic exploration and just about any photograph taken there--at least to those of us who are New Yorkers--is evocative.  Keep shooting!

Jim Snarski - Ruffled   I see this as a metaphor of how I feel when after a long Photoshop session the power suddenly goes out and I've lost everything I've done.  Like the bird, I know eventually everything will soon return to normal.

Christopher Strevens - The Road   The solitary figure in the distance and the overall bleakness is to me a perfect illustration of the Existential Dread touched on in the ruminations of Sartre, Kierkegaard, and Heidegger.  Being truly alone is at once satisfying and terrifying, never just one feeling.

43rd Street - It is not clear what is this: possible personal project that

Pini, I've seen this kind of scene all my working life, not sure I want to do it, when I'm there no creative urges, when I'm away I think I should, conflicting feelings, Bob.
