PGF & Beamer: Clear content?

Hello,
I use PGF in beamer and I would like to know if it is possible to clear the
content of a circle.
More specifically, I have
\node[place2] (cyrcle3) at (.8,9) {Model Νο.1};
\pause
\node[place2] (cyrcle3) at (.8,9) {Linear};

As it is Linear appears over Model Νο.1.
What I would like to do is to clear somehow the Model Νο.1 before Linear is
displayed.

Is it possible to do that in one frame?

Thank you in advance for your help.
snvv

Sure.  Just fill with the bg color (or just white, for instance).

HTH,
