Hi Folks,
My name is Manuel an I'm the new Liip trainee in Fribourg.
I'm looking for an interesting work in PHP. The idea is, to implement an new functionality for bitflux. So if someone has a great idea for this, just answer!
Thanks a lot.
Manuel

Hello,

Is this flux-cms thing still evolving? I think I have seen no updates for a while now.
My blog is powered by flux cms and I would love to get some new features.
Also something has to be done with the templates available for customizing the designs, so few are available.

Maybe you can gather some cool ideas here: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/

Good luck! And hope to hear from you soon.
Lucas.

Yes it is and there's more coming pretty soon. Stay tuned :)

To Manuel, I currently don't have a short term idea, but if I have one,
I'll tell you.

Hi,

Apart from the calendar/events plugin I told you about (and the work
Michel started, see list archive) there's another thing often requests:
integration of the /dynimages/ feature (dynamic image resizing to a set
of dimensions configured in the site options) with the WYSIWYG
editor(s), so that on click (or when dragging an edge..) you can resize
your image to a suitable width/height with two clicks instead of
fiddling with an URL.

Thanks monorom for the hint!

Hannes

Hi,
How about a plug-in installer? A little bit like the themes installer (/admin/themes/)...

Hi,
Acctually inserting picture in a blog post and resize them is in my point of
view still ways to complicated. An Improvment there would make my blog more
pictures ;-) But I'm not sure if you're searching more for a more seperated
work.
Acctually Flux can more then I need, so no new ideas from me.
Ohh well, maybe a nice and easy to use microformat support for the blog
(places and events) would be cool!
Have a good start at Liip

Hi Manuel
Congratulations for your start at this great company
Here is my idea for the bitflux cms. I would love to have a simple shop module with a simple basket and checkout.
I think Silvan from bitflux ZH has done something like this once but I never saw it and I don't know if hi could finish it.
And if you do this I could open you a test account on the clickandbuy payment system to test the checkout ;-)

Enjoy your time at bitflux,
Patrick

*wink from tsüri*  and welcome at Liip.

Actually it's named "Flux CMS", "bitflux" was the company who
initially built it.

Adjusting the subject-prefix might be helpful. Chregu? :)

That would be nice to handle the pictures within a blogpost more
comfortable. Maybe allow some series in combination with the gallery.
I think Yves did something like that for that nautilus-thing :) Rafi
is currently working on a Light-Box-Thingy-based on YUI for the gallery.

There is a Map-Plugin for Geodata in Moblogs in the trunk, but i don't
think its very microformatenhanced.

Have a good weekend
