PIC18 <-> ICD2 protocol

Hello,

I was wondering if anybody here knows how the PIC18 hardware
debugging protocol works (what goes over the wire between
PIC18 and ICD2 during debugging).  It doesn't seem to be
documented anywhere.  The programming manual speaks only of
programming.
