Hi,
I'm working on the Gorda Project, that have just released an add-on to
PostgreSQL supporting the GORDA
Architecture and Programming Interface (GAPI),
http://archives.postgresql.org/pgsql-hackers/2006-08/msg00209.php.
The implementation of the GAPI is achieved in two steps. First, a set of
patches to the PostgreSQL server and a plugin provide the necessary
functionality with minimal intrusion. Then the GAPI is exposed in a
standalone Java process. Currently we are using Sockects for
communication between PostgreSQL and the JAVA process.
We are considering to use PL-J for performance reasons.
I see on
http://fisheye.codehaus.org/browse/plj/plj2, that you are
working on plj2.
I try to download it using the instructions on
http://plj.codehaus.org/cvs-usage.html, but the CVSROOT has changed.
What is the new CVSROOT?
Thanks,
Ricardo Vilaça
