PSP Brushes + announcement - V1.0.2 releasedHi to anyone who is listening. :)
Back in June, Carol asked about PSP brush support within abrViewer. I just tested this and the format of a JBR (PSP brush) can be read by abrViewer. I'm told that PSP & Photoshop brushes can be shared between either software package, it's just the file name's extension needs to be changed from abr to jbr or vice versa. This means that if you make a copy of all your PSP brushes and change the extension to .ABR then ABR Viewer should work for you (if you can use a command prompt or DOS prompt, CD to the directory containing your brushes and type "copy *.JBR *.ABR") If it's not hard to do and I create another release of abrViewer, then I'll include .JBR file support in the file selection. I am planning to tackle one or 2 more bugs/requests. But in the meantime, Version 1.0.2 has been released and can be downloaded on Source forge. I'm not very good at packaging, so currently it's a single RAR file with all the source code. To run the new version, the abrViewer.Net.EXE is in the abrviewer.Net/bin/debug directory. The changes in this version are: - A new first tile for each brush set opened shows the file name. - Tiles are automatically refreshed when resizing the window. - Can now remove the last brush set or clear all brush sets. - First attempt at remembering the last folder selected. (In this version, this is based upon last brush set on-screen) I'll try and make a more user friendly version of this release soon too. (complain directly to me if you can't use this release, it will get me moving faster) Cheers & regards, Graham. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more?
