Guys. Best Martial Arts is holding their second annual Pacific Martial Arts Conference this month and in March. It's a good chance to meet some other martial artists in the community and check out some of the other styles being taught. Jim Madras of the Natural Arts Center will be there along with Connie and Karimu Kudura (Tai Chi folks), a whole slew of Aikido people, some Shorin Ryu, Goju Ryu,and Shudokan Karate, Sifu Suttles of Pierce Family Gung Fu, of course Sensei Best representing Karate, Judo, TKD, Hapkido. Sean Hayes will even be there to represent his Italian sword group. So it should be pretty cool and I'd like to get a group together to attend. Best of all, it's free.

Here's the link: http://pacificmartialartsconference.com/

Drop me an  email if you're going to plan on attending.

Here's an idea.  Would it be conceivable to have our T-shirts ready in time for this conference?  I figured it would be as good a place as any to wear them.

First session is THIS Saturday (Jan 26th)

Gang,
Just a heads-up that the first session is this Saturday, January 26th from 12 to 6. I'll bring flyers tonight. I plan on going to this one. Let me know if you'll be going as well and we can plan on meeting up there (or I can probably offer rides if anyone needs one). This is a great opportunity to make connections with other martial artists in the area, see what they have to offer, and get our own name out there in Eugene's extremely strong and diverse martial arts community.
