Package split

Hi All,

What is the way to

a) split a single package (for example: bzip2) in more than one binary
file (bzip2-1.0.5.tar.bz2; bzip2-dev-1.0.5.tar.bz2;
bzip2-doc-1.0.5.tar.bz2; etc.)
(postinstall system hook?)

b) make enter all these files in packages.db

The purpose is to have the option to install smaller target.
