Page Properties are not showing in Special:Properties

by Beebe, Mary J :: Rate this Message:

If I have a property with Type Page, it does not show up in the special:properties page.

There are 3 items in the drop down list, and one of them is  "Wikipage properties" but nothing shows up even though I have some properties of type page.

Should page properties show up?

Thanks,

Mary Beebe

I found out that this is part of the Halo Extension.  The semantic wiki Special:Properties works fine, but the Halo Properties page overwrites the good one and does not work.  I have disabled the Halo extension properties page for now, but I would like it to work because it groups them and eliminates the system properties.

Thanks,

ReplaceText doesn't!

by Neill Mitchell :: Rate this Message:

Reply to Author | View Threaded | Show Only this Message

Hi.

I'm trying to use the ReplaceText extension. I put in the text I want to
replace and what I want to replace it with. Click "Continue". It then
tells me how many pages have the text. When I click "Continue" is shows
all the pages that will be affected. However, when I click "Replace" the
text does not get replaced in the articles.

I've tried all the obvious and there's nothing in the php logs.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Hello Mary,

When calling the Special:Paroperties page you get all proerties listed
that have a datatype assigned.
Changing the selection to "Wikipage properties" and clicking the go button
should list you all properties that have the type page and also all
properties that have no type assigned.
Could you please be more specific what exactly is not working in your
wiki? Is the wiki accessable externally?

Best regards,

Stephan

Getting article from ID

Hi

Got a problem where a user has imported non supported text into the
wiki. So when I run

Now, is there a way to find out which article via the ID so I can delete it?

Unfortunately my wikis are private, but I have a several properties with [[Has type::Type:Page]] on the property page.  When I select Wikipage properties I get "There are no results for this report."  Those properties seem to work fine within the wiki.

Just so you know:  I have setup these extensions:
SemanticMediaWiki
SMWHalo
SemanticResultForms.

I wonder if I have a global configuration variable set wrong.

This is what I have for my semantic wiki settings.
/********************************************************************************/
//Semantic wiki Stuff

$wgUseAjax=true;
$smwgNamespaceIndex = 200;
require_once("SemanticMediaWiki/includes/SMW_Settings.php");
enableSemantics('localhost');
require_once('SMWHalo/includes/SMW_Initialize.php');
enableSMWHalo('SMWHaloStore2');
$phpInterpreter = "c:/php/php.exe";
require_once('SemanticResultFormats/SRF_Settings.php');
$srfgFormats[] = 'googlebar';
$srfgFormats[] = 'googlepie';
$srfgFormats[] = 'graph';

$phpInterpreter = "c:/php/php.exe";
$smwgShowFactbox = SMW_FACTBOX_NONEMPTY;
//GraphWiz
require_once("common/graphViz/graphViz.php");

Thanks,

Mary Beebe

Hello Mary,

looking at your configuration file:
can you move all extensions into the extensions directory and have them
not directly in the main directory? Please also ajust the require_once
statements in the LocalSettings.php afterwards.
This might be an issue, which then is a bug in the extension because
the installation path is not examined correctly.

Best regards,
Stephan

Hi, Replace Text uses MediaWiki "jobs" to handle replacements; my guess is that you have other jobs in the job queue waiting to be run, before these ones can. You can check the page Special:Statistics to see how many jobs there are in the queue.

They are in the extensions folder; I just have my extensions folder in my php include path because we make so many extensions it works better for us. (I do not have to include the extensions folder in my require statements because it is in the include page.)

Yes, I have noticed that the smw extensions have to be directly in the extensions folder because of absolute references.  It is a small problem, because I would have liked to put them in a subfolder under the extensions folder which would mean changes in the core semantic wiki extension code.

Thanks for looking into this,

Mary Beebe

Hio Yaron.

The problem is that the php post size rapidly gets too big. Even with
max post size set to 128MB, anymore than around 100 replacements bombs.
Perhaps you could parcel them up into chunks when posting?

Cheers
Neill.
