Personal hiatus from development

Dear fellow Csound developers and users,

Due to some changing priorities and circumstances, I feel that it is
necessary for me to take a break from software development including working
on Csound.  I will be devoting more time to the study of traditional
composition and to some personal and family-related projects.

I regret not being able to help with the upcoming Csound release or to
provide the usual level of support for Csound users that I would like.  And
I apologize for the many slow communications and unanswered emails in recent
months, the stalled threads, the missed deadlines, the offers for help on
new features and front ends that have gone unfulfilled, and the broken
promises for bug fixes.  It is very difficult for me to let go of the many
plans, little and not-so-little, that I had for Csound development in the
near future.  I hope that you will all understand.

I suspect that I will be unable to resume development for the rest of this
year but I do hope to return to it eventually.  I will be disabling mail
delivery for myself on both Csound mailing lists but will try to retain
posting priviledges and will occasionally browse the discussions on Nabble.
I ask that if there are any issues or questions on the list that you need my
help on that you please CC me on the email so that it reaches my attention.
I will also respond to personal requests for help with Csound features or
related software that I created or maintained in the last few years.
