Good day to all PinoyJug members!

PinoyJug activities is back on track!

October 27,2009, Techbar @ G2iX, 7pm

Interesting topics and speakers will share their knowledge 'FREE' on
the following topics:

1. Releasing Projects Using Maven* by Deng Ching
   * Maven (http://maven.apache.org/) is a widely-used software
project and build management tool. It supports the

development cycle starting from project creation, to building, up to
releasing your project through an XML file

called  the POM (Project Object Model). This session would tackle the
last part, which is releasing projects. It

would mainly be focused on the Maven release process covering the
following areas:
 - required configuration and other pre-requisites
 - the Maven release profile
 - release preparation
 - finalizing the release
 - troubleshooting releases

2. A Peek at Google App Engine for Java by Melvin Vivas
 - Google App Engine Overview
 - Demo of how to create an application which will run on GAE using Eclipse

3. Testing Techniques for Java by Franz See
 - Test Organization, Test Doubles
 - Test-First Development, Test-Last Development, Test Driven Design
