Pizz. and arco on same staveI am writing a piece where the strings have pizzicato and arco sections.
To get these to play correctly with the likes of Fluidsynth, I need to change the programme (patch) between "Pizzicato Strings" and "String Ensemble 1". Is there any way to do this? I only seem to be able to set the programme once for a channel, so my string parts have to use two channel (and staves), one for pizz. and one for arco. Re: Pizz. and arco on same staveYes there is posible to change program underway on same track.
the way you have to do this you have to do the following. Open the "event list Editor". And then just insert a event, "programchange" at the time place you need Hope this was any help Regards Alf Tonny Bätz On Sat, Jul 4, 2009 at 12:36 PM, Glyn Adgie<glyn@...> wrote: > I am writing a piece where the strings have pizzicato and arco sections. > To get these to play correctly with the likes of Fluidsynth, I need to > change the programme (patch) between "Pizzicato Strings" and "String > Ensemble 1". Re: Pizz. and arco on same staveI know that can be difficult to do when you try put Programchange in
the event editor, and try to find where to put the change, so the best solution to do this is to Cut the segment up. Eksample: You have the place you want the pizz to play you cut the segment just before that happening. and when that is done, you choose the segment, and go into event editor, and the first thing you have to set is a programchange to pizz, and when you want back to sting again, you do the same, just before you want string you cut the segment. Was that a good enought explenations? (Excuse my bad english here) Regards Alf Tonny Bätz On Sun, Jul 5, 2009 at 11:20 AM, Glyn Adgie<glyn@...> wrote: > I thought I would have to do that.
