I have been unable to find any information on how to setup the database
import and export features of Planner.  I have looked in all of the
usual places - am I missing something?

If database import/export doesn't appear in your menu, that means that
the package in your distribution hasn't been compiled with database
support. You can build it yourself. For this, use the
--with-database=gda3 option of configure.

Planner uses libgda to support database. According to
http://www.gnome-db.org/ libgda supports SQLite, MySQL, PostgreSQL,
MSAccess and Bdb.

I have not seen it work with anything but postgresql, so it can be that
we're using features that are not available in some other databases.

I'd very much like to hear about your (or anybody else's) results with
other databases.

Regards,
Maurice.
