Planner-list basic importer

Right now is it possible to import from a MS Project XML.  Is there any
chance that a more basic type of import gets implemented, such as
importing from a CSV file?

As far as I know, nobody's working on it at the moment. However,
there's a feature request for export to CSV at
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=590657 and when someone
works on it, I'm sure they can work on import as well.
