Since our move to v11 for one of our systems, we've been having
problems with LAUNCH EXTERNAL PROCESS commands running on Intel
machines. LAUNCH EXTERNAL PROCESS still executes, but returns (in the
error variable) "Error: [/bin/ls] execv failed (Operation not
supported)". Same for any unix command. We've just managed to pin the
cause down to an in-house developed plug-in that handles fingerprint
recognition.

I am at a loss as to how a plug-in could affect the operation of 4D
commands so don't even have a place to start. Could a plug-in
introduce some form of ID conflict? Any ideas?

Thanks for any assistance,
Cameron
