Plugins availablePerhaps we should organize an effort to help the SM maintainers instead of complaining about them. Here's what I have for plugins. add_address calendar compatibility filters info message_details sent_subfolders squirrelspell translate administrator captcha delete_move_next fortune listcommands newmail smime test bug_report change_pass demo mail_fetch README.plugins spamcop timeout_user The good (or bad) news is that you'd also get the patches that I've applied - none are specific to me. I'm not able to respond to individual requests, but if there's a place to upload them, I'm willing to make a .tar.gz of of each one and put them there.... So why don't we start an interim repository? That way we help each-other, and the SM folks have a set of known good plugins. In fact, we could require that (say) three independent people upload each one; they have to agree before we mark them "probably clean". (Modulo documented patches...) FWIW --------------------------------------------------------- This communication may not represent my employer's views, if any, on the matters discussed. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Enter the BlackBerry Developer Challenge This is your chance to win up to $100,000 in prizes! Re: Plugins availabletlhackque,
I am in the process of making a repository as we speak :) I will make it so that people can upload them... I should have something done soon. Once I have it functional version of the site. The URL is going to be http://smplugin.hotmallo.com/ Thanks, Derek tlhackque wrote: > Perhaps we should organize an effort to help the SM maintainers instead of complaining about them. > > Here's what I have for plugins. > > add_address calendar compatibility filters info message_details sent_subfolders squirrelspell translate > administrator captcha delete_move_next fortune listcommands newmail smime test > bug_report change_pass demo mail_fetch README.plugins spamcop timeout_user > > The good (or bad) news is that you'd also get the patches that I've applied - none are specific to me. > > I'm not able to respond to individual requests, but if there's a place to upload them, I'm willing to make a .tar.gz of of each one and put them there.... > > So why don't we start an interim repository? (Modulo documented > patches...) That won't help. If three people have plguin "foo" and they all match, it could just be that they all downloaded a corrupted version of "foo". What would be useful is diff-ing against known-good prior versions. The changes are generally pretty minor, and any wholesale intentional hacks should be pretty obvious. Re: Plugins availableI've got very few tarballs, but do happen to have three clean (as best as I can tell) installations of 1.4.10a, 1.4.15, and 1.4.19 installed on our server in different directories. Please bear in mind that many of these are identical copies. I'd be more than willing to tar up my plugins: 1.4.10a --- cuaserver:/srv/www/htdocs/squirrelmail/plugins # ls . delete_move_next qotd_login-0.6-1.4.0.tar.gz .. filters quicksave README.plugins fortune quicksave-2.4.2-1.2.9.tar.gz abook_take index.php sent_subfolders addgraphics info spam_buttons address_add ispell-3.3.02 spamcop administrator listcommands squirrelspell autocomplete mail_fetch translate bug_report message_details twc_weather calendar newmail unsafe_image_rules compatibility qotd_login weather 1.4.15 --- cuaserver:/srv/www/htdocs/sq08/plugins # ls . calendar info smallcal .. compatibility listcommands spamcop README.plugins delete_move_next mail_fetch squirrelspell abook_take demo message_details test addgraphics filters msg_flags translate administrator folder_synch newmail twc_weather autocomplete fortune quicksave unsafe_image_rules bug_report index.php sent_subfolders weather and 1.4.19 --- cuaserver:/srv/www/htdocs/sq09/plugins # ls . compatibility mail_fetch sqspback .. delete_move_next mark_read squirrelspell README.plugins demo message_details test add_address filters msg_flags translate addgraphics folder_synch newmail trueaday administrator fortune quicksave twc_weather autocomplete index.php sent_subfolders unsafe_image_rules bug_report info smallcal calendar listcommands spamcop hth, -dmk At 03:40 PM 7/16/2009, you wrote: >Perhaps we should organize an effort to help the SM maintainers >instead of complaining about them. > >Here's what I have for plugins. > >add_address calendar compatibility filters info > message_details sent_subfolders squirrelspell translate >administrator captcha delete_move_next fortune >listcommands newmail smime test >bug_report change_pass demo mail_fetch >README.plugins spamcop timeout_user > >The good (or bad) news is that you'd also get the patches that I've >applied - none are specific to me. > >I'm not able to respond to individual requests, but if there's a >place to upload them, I'm willing to make a .tar.gz of of each one >and put them there.... > >So why don't we start an interim repository?
