Possibly a bug (mixer related)Hello all
I realized that if one does not have the mixer enabled via the "Program Options" related tab, one can not enable it afterwards. Sure, the tickable rectangle is there for enabling it at any time, but it will not work. Am i right? I am running Blue's latest published version on OS X. Re: Possibly a bug (mixer related)Hi Panos,
I think this might be a confusion, but let's check. The option in Program Options for enabling the Mixer is actually a default setting for new projects, to set if new projects will have the mixer enabled when they are created or not. The actual place to enable/disable the mixer is on the mixer dialog itself in the upper left hand corner. Let me know if this addresses your issue or if have misunderstood it. Hope that helps! steven On Wed, Dec 17, 2008 at 10:59 PM, Panos Katergiathis <various@...> wrote: > Hello all > > I realized that if one does not have the mixer enabled via the > "Program Options" related tab, one can not enable it afterwards. Re: Possibly a bug (mixer related)Hi Steven,
I am suggesting that the mixer can not be enabled from the "upper left hand corner" if it has not been set as "enabled" in the "program options". I tried it several times. Panos P.S. Re: Possibly a bug (mixer related)Hi Panos,
Strange, I was able to disable in program options then went back to mixer and enabled/disabled in upper left hand corner. Are you saying that the checkbox in the upper left corner is no longer clickable for you, or that the mixer just doesn't generate the mixer code regardless? As for congratulations, the wedding went very well and was a really beautiful and special day for us. =) Thanks! steven On Sat, Dec 20, 2008 at 6:13 AM, Panos Katergiathis <various@...> wrote: > Hi Steven, > > I am suggesting that the mixer can not be enabled from the "upper left > hand corner" if it has not been set as "enabled" in the "program > options". Re: Possibly a bug (mixer related)Hi Panos,
I just tried and was able to enable/disable the mixer and it work as expected whether the value was enabled/disabled in Program Options. I did this using the example file in blue\examples\features\automation1.blue. To note, blue does optimization when not using the API and if detects a signal path won't be used in the mixer, it won't generate code for that signal path. Are you perhaps seeing this? Otherwise, if you still see issues, could you send me an example project where you are getting the strange behavior? Also, what version of Java and OSX are you using? Thanks, steven On Sat, Dec 20, 2008 at 1:10 PM, Steven Yi <stevenyi@...> wrote: > Hi Panos, > > Strange, I was able to disable in program options then went back to > mixer and enabled/disabled in upper left hand corner. Re: Possibly a bug (mixer related)Hi Steven Thank you for taking the time to confirm my report. Due to a personal problem, i was not able to proceed with further testing and i will not be able for a few more days. I will get back to this, sometime at the end of this week.
