PostGIS FDO provider

Hi List,

I have read some discussions (on this list and in autodesk discussion groups)
about a project of an FDO provider for PostGIS, developed by Refractions.

Is a release date already planned for this project ?

I'm so upset to see that Autodesk has included an FDO provider for MySQL 5.0 and
its quite useless spatial extension in Autodesk Map 3D 2007, and that PostGIS
doesn't have one yet.

Regards,

Arnaud,

I'm the guy fighting with the PostGIS provider for FDO.
Currently, I'm still testing and discovering some small
but yet uncovered and annoying problems.
I'm pursuing to release first version the provider very soon,
counting in days.

Cheers

Thanks for cheering. Indeed, it's a tiny fight.
I'll drop a note when it's available to try.

Cheers

Ok everyone, this is great news!  I will collect my thoughts and come
up with some preliminary organization and get back with everyone.
Expect to hear from me within a few days or by the weekend at the very
latest (I'm very busy as previously stated).

compiler do the
job?

In fact I believe I did most of my work in C# Express.  So yes, you
shouldn't have to buy anything.  Of course, we'll probably want to
setup the build such that we don't depend on MS by using Nant or
something.  But we'll get to that soon.

I will be in touch soon!
