Plant Sensory Systems is a rapidly growing agricultural biotech
company in the Baltimore/Washington DC area that uses its
understanding of plant sensory systems to optimize agricultural
traits. We currently have available two postdoctoral research
positions in the area of plant molecular biology. The successful
candidates will be responsible for conducting molecular and biological
analyses on transgenic crop plants and evaluating their physiological
performance in greenhouse trials. The salary range for these positions
is $50,000-60,000 per year.
Requirements include the PhD in Plant Biology or related field with
experience in Molecular Biology. Experience with plant physiology,
genetics or biochemistry is highly desired. Candidates who have
experience working with crop plants, especially maize or canola, are
preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills are
required. Must be able to work independently and in a team-based
environment. Must have legal work status in US.
