Pre-commit changes review

One of the things I miss in SmartSVN is the ability to review file changes while I'm doing a checkin.  I'm accustomed to clicking commit on a directory, deselecting all the files i don't want to commit, then reviewing the changes file-by-file as I make my commit message.  This also allows me to make sure that I haven't accidentally included something I don't want to commit..

Is there any support for such a change?  Or have I not found a feature on SmartSVN?

(Most of my current activity is using Tortoise SVN on Windoze machines, where this is very easy.)

Donald.

Actually there is a  button somewhere in the commit window to see the changes... I use it all the time to build my commit message.

Thank you very much, Prakash.  I'll try looking more closely at the commit window's options.

Donald.

I can do such just fine... directly from the commit screen (viewing diffs etc...) But this might be a feature of the professional version.

You also can double-click the entries in the list above the message input

Hello, Prakash.

I did find the button - it is greyed out in my non-pro copy, so SmartSVN just became much less useful to me.

Thanks for the tip.
Donald.

Lol, that is bad, I went pro quite quickly so I didnt know if there was a funtional difference between pro and non-pro or if it issomething new that smartsvn guys have started.

Not sure if it really makes any sense that you give a less functional product to non-pro guys during evaluation. The evalutaion licence expires in 30 days anyway. after 30 days you can make the product non-functional.

Well anyway, that is smartsvn's business decision.
