Combined with some good web framework, Pretty is set out to be one of
the most productive and >by far< the fastest web app development
stack, suitable for 90% of all web sites out there.

I am talking to the guys at Jetty to help me make this work.

I think it would be a very elegant solution. And it looks like
implementation complexity it not too high.
So if you need an encouragement from a passer-by then
YES, DO IT
(:

However:
* To be usable all HTTP operations should be considered (at least PUT, DELETE)
* This restricts what can be done in web-app (think of side-effects or
operations atomicity) so application should be specially crafted for
prevayler and thus the solution is not completely transparent.
* many servlet containers can replicate or migrate sessions in a
cluster. Need to somehow deal with it (at least ensure configuration
disallows it)
