Printing EnvelopesI am having trouble printing envelopes with my Linux version of OO.o.
My OS is PCLinuxOS 2009. My version of OO.o is 3.0.0, Build 9358. This is the version in the PCLOS repository. I did a complete update of my OS and all installed software earlier this week. My printer is a Canon PIXMA IP 1600. Canon does not support Linux, so I had to buy printer drivers from Turboprint. My problem is that a #10 business envelope must be inserted into the printer with the short end first. This requires the printing to be done in landscape mode, but I have been unable to get the printing to rotate. Normal landscape printing works fine, but I can't get it to work with the envelope template. At this time, the only way I can print an envelope is to boot into Windows and print the envelope with the Windows version of OO.o. This procedure is extremely inconvenient. Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide. Bob --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: users-unsubscribe@...
