sorry I can't help you with your problem, because I don't have much knowledge about this, but for those people who are able to help you, it might be a help, if you post the options too, frames, buffers etc.. Why do you run jackd as superuser? Maybe your distro is separating the JACK package and the libjack pakages, you might want to take a look if the versions for the libjack packages fit to the version of jack.
