Problem installing framework

I'm currently attempting to install the SAFS framework to evaluate whether it's a viable option for my company.  I've done the install according to the directions (http://safsdev.sourceforge.net/sqabasic2000/SetupSAFS.README.htm, http://safsdev.sourceforge.net/sqabasic2000/SetupRobotJ.README.htm) but when I attempt the execute the test runs (runTIDTest.BAT & runRFTTest.BAT), no logs are generated.

I believe the problem stems from when I execute "SetupRationalClasspath.wsf".  When I do, nothing appears to happen other then the screen flickering.

I'm installing this on a lab pc with a new install of RFT 8.0.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks,

Jeff

Check your STAF install.  Part of installing SAFS is installing STAF.   However, the downloadable version of SAFS is trying to install STAF 2.6.11 which  MAY NOT INSTALL WITH JAVA 1.6.

Until the next release supporting STAF V3 is available, you must install SAFS with Java 1.5.

Also, in case that is not your issue, have you installed the latest downloadable Overlay for SAFS after having installed the release?

Carl

That was the exact problem.  Thanks for your prompt help.

I'm sure I'll have more questions as I progress with the evaluation.

Thanks,

Jeff
