Problem removing GIMP

I am trying to remove GIMP at this point and get the following message:

"C:\Program Files/GIMP-2.0\uninst000.dat" does not exist. Cannot
uninstall"

However, it still shows it's 34.42 MG size in the Add/Remove window.

Any ideas how to safely uninstall this program??

If Add/Remove won't work, do the following:
   > Delete the GIMP directory
   > Search the "C" drive for any files that have "GIMP" as part of the
     filename and delete them
   > Use Regedit to search for references to GIMP and delete those

You can safely delete the folder C:\Program Files\Gimp-2.0, then click
Uninstall in Add/Remove Programs again, and answer Yes to the question.
