Problem with Custom Routes

hi All,

 I need help with custom routing

the actual url is

1. http://lv.lamparch.com/index/category/mumbai/for-sale/c8
2. http://lv.lamparch.com/index/subcat/mumbai/for-sale/home-office-furniture/c75

I need the url to look like
1. http://lv.lamparch.com/mumbai/for-sale/c8
2. http://lv.lamparch.com/mumbai/for-sale/home-office-furniture/c75

Can anyone help me to figure out this solution, i am  new to cakephp.
